This weeks top ten list is: Words/Topics that Will Make me Buy/Pick up a Book!
This was started over at The Broke and the Bookish
1. The Holocaust: I really enjoy learning about the holocaust because it really interests me, and I like to hear the survival stories and stuff by holocaust survivors. I think it's a very touchy, moving, and interesting subject that can inspire millions.
2. 1920's: Well, technically these aren't words, but whatever. If I see a flapper on the front cover and 1920's in the flap, I will automatically add it to my cart. I'm a sucker for secrets and scandals. Don't judge me.
3. Cancer: Cancer is a very touchy subject. I have only read one book about it, but I would like to read more. Cancer is something I have thankfully never experienced, but I want to read more about it, because I'm interested in diseases and doctor stuff.
4. Plagues: Like I said, above, I'm interested in doctor/disease stuff, so I really like to see the types of plagues people can come up with, or what kind of plagues there have been in the past. I just think it's really interesting. Sick, sick, I know.
5. Dystopian: Okay, okay, I know it's been over used a lot lately, but when a dystopian story is good it makes a very excellent and exciting read. I really like to see how people view our future, or what scenarios people can come up with.
6. Vampires: Don't kill me. I actually kind of liked Twilight. But I prefer the real Vampires over the Sparkly ones. Vampires are kind of my favorite paranormal thing.
7. Stalkers: What can I say? I love a really good scare.
8. Ghosts: Ghosts are just plain old epic. And they can be used in a bunch of different ways, too. One way could be scary ghosts, and another could be looking for closure. There's just a bunch of different ways to portray them, and they're dead.
9. Beaches: I love the beach. I love to swim. I love summer. So therefore, I love summer books about swimming at the beach. Well, and other things, too. But if they're a beach as the setting, count me in.
10. Greek Mythology: I have been in love with Greek Mythology ever since Percy Jackson, and it really interests me. I love all of the myths.
2. 1920's: Well, technically these aren't words, but whatever. If I see a flapper on the front cover and 1920's in the flap, I will automatically add it to my cart. I'm a sucker for secrets and scandals. Don't judge me.

The Holocaust also made my TTT list today! If you enjoy reading about the Holocaust you've probably read The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom, but if not you should definitely check it out! It is my absolute favorite Holocaust story!
