Top Ten Tuesday: Light, Fun Reads!

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish.

This weeks theme is: Top Ten Things to Read When You Need Something Light and Fun.

1. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares: I flew threw this book in two days, and I thought it was a nice read. I read it at the very end of summer, and I thought it was perfect to read around that time.

 

2. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins: This book was absolutely wonderful! It had something in it that was a heavy subject, but the overall feel of the book was cute and... fluffy. And I love St. Clair.

 

3. The Selection by Kiera Cass: I read this book in a day. I thought it was perfect break from all of the heavy subjects, and yet it still had drama in it, so it was a very great read.

 

4. I Funny by James Patterson: I also read this book in a day. It's a story told in words and pictures, and I found myself laughing out loud at multiple points in the story.

 

5. Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard: This series is creepier in the later books; the first book was really just everyone's lives after Ali's death. I thought it was a nice, interesting read that went by quickly.

 

6. Deadly Little Lessons by Laurie Faria Stolarz: Okay, so I'm cheating a bit with this one, considering it scared the crap out of me. But the parts that weren't really creepy were quick and fun.

 

7. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith: What can I say? This book was a perfect romance. I read it within the period of 24 hours. Haha, get it? Lame, I'm sorry, I know.

 

8. The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May, and June by Robin Benway: This book was really cute and sarcastic. I read it in a day, like most of these books.

 

9. Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle: Okay, so this book is a Christmas book, not a summer book, but who cares? If it was light and fun, which it was, it makes it onto the list.

 

10. An Abundance of Katherines by John Green: I found this book to be very entertaining and funny.
